Mary LandellMary Landell, B.A., B.Div.
Managing Director

Mary Landell is the founder / Managing Director of Landell and Associates Consulting Ltd. and its sister company MLL Communications Ltd. Both have offered employment consulting services since 1990, assisting job seekers experiencing both recessions and boom periods. Mary has extensive management and public speaking experience as well as a background in teaching, counselling, program design and project proposals and delivery.

Mary's Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI®) type is INFJ. INFJ types "combine their empathic understanding with the drive and organization to implement global plans for enhancing people's lives". (From Introduction to Type by Isabel Briggs Myers, sixth edition).

In 1998 the Landell staff showed their appreciation of Mary's leadership by nominating her as Mentor of the Year. As a result, she was presented with the first Mentor of the Year Netty (NETWERCC) Award which reads: "To Mary Landell whose past and continued encouragement and support have made a lasting and meaningful contribution to the professional development of others in the career development field." This was an inspiring event for the whole organization.

Mary tries hard to practice a give-and-take attitude of grace and humour. A deep longing of hers is to see staff and clients totally engaged and having fun while being inspired / pushed / pulled to their full work potential and beyond. Some of her sayings are: "arrange for success; people need the most love when they're the least lovable; walking the talk is uphill; to get unstuck, set a date, say you're going to do it, then make it happen; doors open and close at just the right time; it always works out; that didn't just happen; will this really matter 200 years from now; put feet under your prayers."
