These programs are for unemployed people - or under-employed individuals working less than an average of 20 hours per week - who can wholeheartedly commit their time to the program they choose and who are prepared to apply the career and job search strategies they learn. The programs are goal oriented, lively and fun.
As one participant said: "I think it is an excellent program, the group atmosphere is positive, the facilitators are well informed and supportive."
Another job seeker observed: "When you see that other skilled, talented people are having the same difficulties it makes you feel better knowing you're not alone. And it feels good when others succeed, gives you hope for yourself."
Registering
To register call us directly or contact a Case Manager in your area who can help you with an Action Plan and program information. Case Management services are listed on the www.youremploymentservices.ca, web site.
All programs confirm that you have an Action Plan from a Case Manager.
Program Objectives
Evaluations
We ask that all participants complete the Evaluation Forms at the end of the program or workshop to help us assess and fine-tune what we are doing. We'll be having a quick daily feedback time as well. We value the comments and insights and use them to fine-tune our programs.

The Career Planning Program staff talk with you on the phone to ensure that you understand the program and are confident that you are a match, then you are invited to come in a complete a registration form prior to the program start date.
The Strategic Job Search Program staff first talk with you on the phone to confirm that the program is a match, then you are booked for a one-day Introductory / registration session before the program starts. This includes an introduction to resume design. (For the Cloverdale SJS shorter workshops you simply book by phone.) - Cloverdale Site
With the Core Clusters Strategic Job Search Program, you call to make an appointment, and then you may have an individual intake / registration meeting. or a group Introductory session prior to the start day.
